Elaborate diagonal kantha embroidery across the entire front half, creates a unique, contemporary yet ethnic look.
The jute is lined with beautiful woven ikat fabric and not plastic. It has 2 inside pockets, one zippered and the other plain.
Our mission is to provide opportunities to those who never had any. We train for free and employ housewives, farmers or housemaids in rural or city outskirts of India. Along with not having had an opportunity, they also suffer tremendous social barriers to step outside home for work.
Through free skill-building workshops as well as a lot of time and patience, we train such women to slowly grow from makers, to artisans. For our quality requirements, this often takes 2 to 3 years.

We believe it’s important for everyone to know where their materials come from, and think about where they will go.
All our products are handmade with materials sourced directly from weavers and artisans, and can be composted at the end of their lives to merge into soil.

Washing: Although our materials are colour fast, we recommend soaking your product in warm salt water the first time you wash it. Subsequently, your product can be washed in your washing machine, alongside other clothes, etc.
Drying: As with most natural fibers, it is recommended to air hang dry to ensure the product retains its form best.
Ironing: Since jute is a strong fiber, it is easiest to iron when sprayed with water first or with a steam iron.

The cotton strap colors are thoughtfully chosen to give it an interesting as well as fun look! So the indigo comes with blue straps, the brown with red straps, and the gray with black straps!
Our sustainable backpacks are elaborately embroidered in diagonal kantha stitches across the entire front half, creating a unique look that is both contemporary and ethnic. And we artistically highlight in embroidery, one line of it in the strap color, which gives the backpack a very stylish look! It has 2 inside pockets, one zippered and the other plain. The jute is lined with beautiful woven ikat fabric, not plastic on the inside. The lining is unattached at the bottom hence easy to pull out and dust off crumbs and bits of things.

And we package all our products in up-cycled saris!
